"Sand", quinto álbum dos californianos Soft Science, é uma mistura sedutora de dream pop, post-punk e shoegaze. A cada audição vieram-me à cabeça bandas tão díspares como Cocteau Twins, The Mission, Echo & the Bunnymen ou Faith & the Muse, e uma sensação de arrepio por me parecer que sempre conheci estas canções toda a vida. Não acontece frequentemente.
Entre tantos temas cativantes, recomendo "Sway" e "Thread".
"Sand", the fifth album by the Californians Soft Science, is a seductive blend of dream pop, post-punk and shoegaze. With every listen, bands as different as Cocteau Twins, The Mission, Echo & the Bunnymen or Faith & the Muse came to mind. "Sand" sent shivers down my spine like I've known these songs my entire life. Doesn't happen every day.
Among so many captivating tracks, I recommend "Sway" and "Thread".
